About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and identifying new opportunities within the education and project sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with schools and project stakeholders to uncover and nurture business opportunities.
  • Utilise industry-leading ABI project systems to track and review leads, focusing on upcoming projects in the educational space.
  • Work closely with subcontractors and architects to fully understand project specifications, providing the information needed to develop precise and competitive quotes.
  • Use a consultative approach to gather detailed client information, identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Foster strong client relationships, ensuring excellent communication throughout the sales process.
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and SQLs into secured orders.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication skills: A confident, professional phone manner and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in all client interactions, lead tracking, and project quoting.
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively to achieve targets.
  • Highly motivated, with a track record of meeting or exceeding business development goals.
