Job Opportunity at Château de Mercuès

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of our dishes, working closely with our Executive Head Chef to create menus and lead the kitchen in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality dishes to our guests
  • Work with the Executive Head Chef to create menus and develop new recipes
  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Head Chef
  • Assist in the training of new kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and health and safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor
  • Passion for food and a commitment to excellence
