Job Opportunity at Château de Mercuès

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the preparation and service of our menus, working closely with our Executive Head Chef to create innovative and delicious dishes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Head Chef in menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Head Chef
  • Train and develop new kitchen staff
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and health and safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food and service
  • Qualifications in food safety and health and safety
