Business Development Director

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Facilities Management business, reporting directly to our Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountability for shaping, developing, and implementing the business development strategy for 2nd tier Facilities Management contractors and National Facilities Management contractors.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers, ensuring we build strategic partnerships with our facilities management customers by offering a market-leading service proposition.
- Use data and personal market experience to drive a winning sales culture, developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed our strategic priorities.
- You will be the key relationship holder with our Facilities Management customers, ensuring we deliver against our agreed terms of business and that all processes are flowing smoothly as our customers would expect.
- The Business Development Director is an influential member of the Managed Services Leadership Team, building and maintaining strong working relationships with our largest customers by attending industry events and providing thought leadership on key strategic topics.
- Continually evaluate existing and target customers to deliver profitable growth and deliver against our commercial goals.
- Ensure the credibility and technical expertise of the Account Managers to ensure we are the trusted partner for Facilities Management Providers.
- Work seamlessly with all of the Managed Services team, as well as the wider Travis Perkins business, to demonstrate a united front to the customer on our service ambition.
- Successfully manage procurement processes and secure long-term contractual agreements with both private and public sector organisations.
Our ideal candidate will have experience leading a high-performing team that delivers similar services into the Facilities Management sector. You may be in a similar role working for a similar service provider or supplier looking for a new opportunity with a growing business.
