Product Sales and Business Development Director

This is a senior role within the Global Sales team, focusing on high value engineering sales. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in negotiating project terms and conditions, as well as a strong understanding of commercial principles.
The job involves managing all elements of the sales and business development process, from strategy development to budgeting and forecasting. You will work closely with the sales support team to improve the speed, accuracy and effectiveness of project proposals.
A key aspect of this role is soliciting enquiries for packaged screw compressor projects and influencing clients to specify Howden products. You will also be responsible for ensuring negotiated contracts are correct and sufficient detail for execution.
This position requires utilising Salesforce to record enquiries, proposals and turndowns, as well as accurately reflecting sales forecasts. Additionally, you will support the development and management of established agents in assigned geographical regions.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will ensure adherence to company environmental, health and safety standards, while minimising environmental impact.
Salary Estimate: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
