Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Novotel London Waterloo. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Front Office, Reservations, Accounts, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Front Office, Reservations, Accounts, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments, including rotas, team recruitment, and purchases.
  • Ensure that all guest satisfaction requirements are met, working closely with the Front Office, Maintenance, and Housekeeping managers.
  • Manage departmental forecasts, budgets, staffing, and costs, as if it were your own hotel.
  • Participate in monthly reporting and yearly budgeting processes.
  • Be proactive, curious, creative, and have a great sense of humor, participating in management meetings and replacing the General Manager in their absence.
  • Enjoy learning and developing the members of your team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in hotel operations management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
