HR Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Reaseheath College. As an HR Business Partner, you will provide generalist HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff in your business areas, including recruitment, absence, conditions of service, policies, employment legislation, and best practice.

You will work closely with the in-house Payroll Team and be responsible for preparing and checking monthly HR information ready for payroll. You will work under the line management of the HR Manager, who will actively coach you within this role.

In addition, you will work alongside the Learning and Development Business Partner and Diversity and Inclusion Manager and support them in taking forward the learning and development and equality, diversity, and inclusion agendas for the college.

Experience of working within the Education sector, and knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding in relation to young people is desirable.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate HR professional with a desire to progress to HR Business Partner within 3 years. The College will provide financial support to cover the cost of the Level 7 CIPD qualification as part of a three-year career plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide generalist HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff
  • Work closely with the in-house Payroll Team
  • Prepare and check monthly HR information ready for payroll
  • Support the Learning and Development Business Partner and Diversity and Inclusion Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in HR
  • Member of the CIPD and qualified to Level 5 or equivalent
  • High level of IT skills and competent user of HR software packages
  • Desirable experience of working within the Education sector and knowledge of safer recruitment and safeguarding
