Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our housing management team, you will be responsible for managing a patch of around 200 homes, ensuring they are well maintained and that customers are aware of their responsibilities.

This role involves working independently but collaborating closely with our maintenance and lettings teams to allocate empty homes effectively and manage customer expectations regarding repairs. You will also escalate any property maintenance issues that arise.

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely cares about people, has the resilience to manage a busy workload, and possesses excellent communication skills, natural curiosity, and the ability to navigate challenging conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tenancy sign-ups and changes
  • Address anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns
  • Handle court work and evictions when necessary
  • Work with local services to build positive relationships and improve the lives of our customers

Skillset:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally within housing management
  • Able to achieve performance targets and maximise customer satisfaction
  • Tenacious and resilient with a reputation for influencing, negotiating, and relationship building skills
  • Has access to a vehicle and a full driving license

Salary Range: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
