French Selection UK is a leading consultancy specialising in the recruitment of bilingual and multilingual professionals for international business. We are seeking an experienced Export Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Manchester.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled customer service professional with fluent French language skills to handle all queries received via email and website, answer calls from customers and Sales Managers in France, generate orders, liaise with other departments and showroom in Paris, and assist colleagues/other departments in busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer inquiries and respond in a timely and professional manner.
  • Answer calls from customers and Sales Managers in France and provide excellent customer service.
  • Generate orders and ensure accurate processing.
  • Liaise with other departments and showroom in Paris to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Assist colleagues/other departments in busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in French (both written and verbally).
  • Fluency in additional European languages (ideal).
  • Senior experience in customer service (ideally from prestige product/high end customers).
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Team player and excel in building cooperation.
  • IT literate.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary up to £28,000 depending on experience and language skills, plus benefits including 25 days holiday, Christmas shutdown, staff discount, early finish on Fridays, gym membership etc.
