Health and Safety Advisor Position

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join our team in Manchester / North West. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality HSE services to our clients.

The Job Description:

  1. Carry out site inspections and site support visits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Provide technical and HSE support to site management teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Undertake targeted monthly checks to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  4. Attend regular meetings with site management teams to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  5. Find practical solutions to issues that arise on site and interact with site management teams to build trust and solid working relationships.
  6. Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  7. Carry out external PC/client inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  8. Deliver in-house training for operatives and management teams to enhance their health and safety knowledge and skills.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional with:

  • UK-based construction/house building experience.
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable).
  • Availability to start immediately.
  • UK driving license.
