About the Role

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled Digital Merchandising Specialist to support the 3rd Party digital trading manager in driving sales performance on all global Burberry online concession sites and executing the digital product strategy for concessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Reporting and Analysis: Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly product reporting and analysis on third-party concessions to understand customer needs across each concession and identify trade patterns and growth opportunities.
  • Liaison with External Partners: Liaise with external partners, analyze trade reports, and participate in weekly/monthly trading calls.
  • Visual Merchandising: Monitor concessions' visual merchandising, ensuring consistency with guidelines, and suggest opportunities based on commercial analysis.
  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct weekly competitor analysis to stay ahead of the market.
  • Post-Market Buy Consolidation: Lead post-market buy consolidation across regions and wholesale, and analyze to identify partner-specific opportunities for growth.
  • Seasonal Direction and Product Knowledge: Produce and present seasonal direction, product knowledge, product drivers, and upcoming marketing activations to partners.
  • Assortment Management: Manage assortment for each concession, partnering with Digital Merchandising to align on the strategy each season, assisting merchandising analysis, and producing buy hindsight to support in-market.
  • Product Deliveries and Marketing Activations: Track product deliveries and work with partners to ensure products are launched promptly and in line with Burberry digital. Lead in marketing activations, collating and sending out seasonal campaign assets to partners, and assisting in securing and coordinating PR sample requests.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous Buying and Merchandising Experience: Previous buying and merchandising experience is preferred.
  • Third-Party Digital or Trading Experience: Previous third-party digital or trading experience is ideal.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Accuracy and great attention to detail are essential.
  • Analytical and Numerical Skills: Analytical and good numerical skills are required.
  • Excel and PowerPoint Skills: Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Good communication skills and teamwork are essential.
  • Relationship Management: Experience of managing positive internal and external relationships to support and grow trade across partner sites is required.
