Position Overview

Manière De Voir is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to enhance our visual presentation strategies across our retail environments.

In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Retail and serve as a key representative of our brand, demonstrating a deep understanding of the luxury retail landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold exceptional visual standards, ensuring that our store displays reflect the quality and sophistication associated with our brand. You will collaborate closely with store management to develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that align with our business objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and elevate visual merchandising standards in accordance with established guidelines and store requirements. You will design captivating window displays while ensuring effective product rotation through ongoing communication with the Head of Retail and Store Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Buying teams to curate key looks, ensuring that the perspectives of all relevant stakeholders are integrated into the visual strategy.
  • Create and manage digital visual merchandising presentations, ensuring optimal product selection and display.
  • Analyze market trends related to size, color, and silhouette in partnership with Allocators to effectively manage product flow.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of store operations to enhance overall store performance, including contributing to daily trade summaries and capturing essential product updates.
  • Deliver training sessions on visual merchandising to ensure all team members are well-versed in display and window standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date awareness of competitor campaigns and market trends, sharing insights with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and execute visual merchandising projects while optimizing budgetary considerations.
  • Proactively prepare for upcoming product launches to ensure outstanding in-store representation.
  • Conduct sales floor analysis to assess product performance and take necessary actions based on findings.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure that in-store digital touchpoints align with product launches and promotional activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, particularly in mannequin styling at either store or regional levels, with a proven history of delivering exceptional visual presentations.
  • A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail; an interest in art and design is advantageous.
  • Exemplary personal presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • A strong work ethic and intrinsic motivation.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • A general understanding of diverse cultures to effectively drive the visual merchandising agenda across various marketing initiatives.
