About the Role

Burberry is seeking a highly skilled Digital Merchandising Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Merchandising team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our digital merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment with our company's overall strategy and creative vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Central Product Merchandising team to develop merchandise strategies that drive digital growth and revenue.
  • Partner with Regional Merchandising & Planning to ensure that digital has the right products and inventory at the right time, and drive new trading ideas in response to changing trends.
  • Lead site merchandising preparation for monthly delivery launches, ensuring site merchandising strategy is well represented in the best commercial way.
  • Curate visually appealing pages that balance art and commerce, and ensure visual journeys through to product are consistent and optimized via assets and linking for Home and Landing pages.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing teams to ensure product and links in emails are connected with SEO and wider Digital Marketing teams, including UX on product focus.
  • Collaborate with Digital Operations and Customer ops to ensure key styles are content ready in time for launch, delivering strong monthly messaging and sales results.
  • Work closely with content team to ensure smooth publishing process across the site.
  • Analyze trade data weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly, and report on dynamic merchandising activities to maximize sales and sell-through, as well as engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze trade data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO and UX.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
