We are seeking a recent graduate with a passion for business to join our comprehensive graduate programme. This exciting opportunity will cultivate the next generation of sales leaders and managers.

Graduate Training ProgrammeFirst 6 Months
  • Develop a core knowledge of the business, including warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software, and marketing.
  • Gaining hands-on experience with our vast product range and learning about different manufacturers and the electrical distribution industry.
  • Building relationships, making deals, and advising customers face-to-face over the trade counter, serving electricians, contractors, and tradespeople.
  • Begins your formal sales training course, staying overnight alongside other Graduate Trainees from across the company.
  • Completing workbook assessments to underpin your learning and development, with financial incentives for each one passed to a required standard.
6-12 Months
  • Transition to internal sales account management, engaging with business customers over the phone, including construction companies, local government authorities, housing developers, and hotels.
  • Learning business development strategies and how to target and win new trading accounts.
12 Months and Beyond
  • Progress to a diverse business-to-business field sales management position, with increased earning potential and bigger bonuses.
  • Travel locally in your company car, meeting clients, discussing projects, and arranging social activities.
  • Work towards running your own business in the group, learning about staff management, purchasing, profit and loss, etc., within a decentralised structure that allows local managers to drive informed decisions.

This role offers a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus commission and performance-related bonuses. The estimated annual salary for this position is around £45,000.
