We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at the Hellingly Centre, a medium and low secure inpatient service for male and female service users. As an experienced professional, you will play a vital role in supporting service users with complex mental health needs.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will work closely with allied health professionals, service users, and their care teams to enhance effective communication and engagement in meaningful activities. Key responsibilities include providing feedback and contributing to holistic care plans, aiding service users' recovery and journey through secure services.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with planning and delivering individual and group sessions across various domains, including nature-based activities, the Recovery Through Activity programme, education, vocational roles, art and creativity, physical activity, and sensory exploration.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours), typically Monday-Friday, with flexible working requests considered. Previous experience working with people with mental health difficulties is essential, along with access to regular supervision, reflective practice, and training opportunities.

The estimated salary for this role is £22,000-£28,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
