As a Youth Mental Health Advocate at Academics Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of students aged 4-16. This involves providing one-on-one and group support, developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, and collaborating with therapists to address specific student challenges. Our school prioritises a safe and nurturing environment, where students feel valued and supported in their academic and personal journeys.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, facilitating trust and open communication
• Deliver targeted support sessions to students, addressing specific mental health concerns and promoting emotional resilience
• Collaborate with therapists to develop and deliver interventions addressing student needs
• Work closely with the class teacher to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed
• Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive school environment, promoting student well-being and academic success

Requirements:
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field (psychology, education, etc.)
• Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
• Commitment to creating a safe and supportive school environment, prioritising student well-being and academic success

Estimated Salary: £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
