Mental Health Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist class teachers in providing individualized support to students with SEN and mental health needs
* Develop and implement behavior plans to support students with challenging behaviors
* Collaborate with therapists and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, adapting activities to meet their individual needs
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents/carers
Requirements:
* A psychology degree or related field is desirable but not necessary
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Patience and understanding when working with students with challenging behaviors
Working Conditions:
This role will be based in a school setting, working with children aged 4-16 who have SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
