About the Role
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our administration team as an Administration Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in business administration, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential online filing systems and data input for all records generated within the trust, compliant with legislation and data protection policy.
- Organize and book meetings, create agendas, and support the distribution of meeting papers under the supervision of the administration team.
- Undertake scanning, photocopying, shredding, and general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the ambulance service.
- Work with the County Business Manager to identify and develop your own learning needs, participate in and support personal development.

Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a successful acceptance onto a Level 2 or Level 3 administration apprenticeship standard with an approved provider. You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, be enthusiastic and motivated, and able to organize and use your own initiative. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
