About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Sales Specialist to join our team at Scientific Laboratory Supplies Ltd. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the North UK & Scotland territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the North UK & Scotland territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities and upselling/cross-selling our products.
  • Provide technical expertise and product training to customers, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to use our products effectively.
  • Collaborate with our product specialists and sales team to develop and implement local marketing campaigns, product launches, and trade show appearances.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong technical understanding of chemical and chromatography techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the North UK & Scotland territory.
