Business Development Representative

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our team at Lawhive. As the first point of contact for lawyers and solicitors, you will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and securing initial meetings with prospects. This role will involve generating a prospecting list that fits our ideal persona, booking outbound meetings, and communicating our value proposition to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate a prospecting list that fits our ideal persona
- Book outbound meetings with lawyers and solicitors
- Communicate our value proposition to the market
- Gather data and react quickly to signs of intent from prospects
- Carry out initial screening to ensure they meet qualifying criteria
- Keep prospects engaged between the initial call and pitch with the Account Manager
- Follow up and engage with prospects who have submitted inbound enquiries to Lawhive
- Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects
- Follow up on existing contacts in our CRM to identify new potential needs
- Support the Account Managers with sales admin where needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SDR in a high-performing B2B sales team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Empathy and patience when dealing with questions and sales objections
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of legal terminology and processes is a plus
