Business Development Manager

Join our team at Nicholl Oil Group as a Business Development Executive, where you will play a key role in driving commercial growth and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing commercial customers, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Generate new business leads through lead generation, networking, and prospecting, staying up-to-date with competitor market trends to inform our pricing strategy.
- Build strong relationships with customers, processing orders, and recording and updating records and data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department on promotional and general marketing activities, ensuring alignment with our business strategy.
- Provide regular sales activity reports and forecasts to the management team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Liaise with other departments, including Commercial, Credit Control, and Dispatch, to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfillment.
- Minimum of two years' experience in sales and business development, with a strong commercial focus and ability to manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge of CRM software, such as Microsoft Dynamics, is desirable.
- A competitive salary of £24,960 per annum, plus performance-related bonus.
- A 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
