We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Nicholl Oil Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of existing commercial customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Customer Management: Develop and maintain a portfolio of existing commercial customers, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is high.
- New Business Development: Identify potential new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and prospecting, and develop strategies to pursue these leads.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand the competitor market and provide insights to support the business strategy for product pricing.
- Customer Communication: Regularly communicate with potential or existing customers, processing orders, and recording and updating records and data.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other departments, such as Commercial, Credit Control, and Dispatch teams, to ensure commercial customer needs are met.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales activities and forecast to the management team.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of two years of sales and business development experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong commercial focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Attributes: Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a customer-centric approach.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time office-based role, with occasional visits to customers' premises. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £24,960 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus.
