Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at CPL, a market leader in the packaging distribution industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is keen to grow and develop a sales area within a thriving business.
Key Responsibilities- Building and managing a portfolio of customers to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Monitoring sales performance and activity levels, and producing regular reports to highlight key result areas.
- Developing and implementing business plans to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing quotes, and ensuring timely follow-up on queries.
- Collaborating with the Credit Control team to ensure customers comply with trading terms and conditions.
- Maintaining price files and advising customers of price increases, while managing expectations to retain business.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering sales and margin targets.
- Strong relationship-building skills combined with a flair for business development.
- Highly organized and effective time management skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Highly customer-focused.
