About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at CPL, a market leader in the packaging distribution industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who is keen to grow and develop a sales area within a thriving business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and managing a portfolio of customers to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
  • Monitoring sales performance and activity levels, and producing regular reports to highlight key result areas.
  • Developing and implementing business plans to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing quotes and ensuring timely follow-up on queries.
  • Working closely with the Credit Control team to ensure customers comply with trading terms and conditions.
  • Maintaining accurate price files and advising customers of price increases, while managing expectations to retain business.
