Business Development Manager

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Nicholl Oil Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of existing commercial customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Commercial Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Utilize lead generation techniques, networking, and prospecting to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
- Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research and analysis to understand competitor pricing strategies and ensure our business remains competitive in the sector.
- Customer Communication and Support: Provide regular telephone communication with customers, processing orders, and recording and updating customer records and data.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Liaise with the Sales Director, Commercial, Credit Control, and Dispatch teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of commercial customer needs.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales activity reports and forecasts to the management team, ensuring accurate and timely data.
Requirements:
- Experience and Skills: A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, with a strong commercial focus and ability to manage the sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Candidate Attributes: Highly motivated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time office-based role, with occasional visits to customers' premises. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £24,960 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus.
