Establish a strategic policy approach to support the historic and built environment across Scotland.

This role involves coordinating policy development initiatives, leading on a coordinated and strategic approach to policy and influencing strategic policy and legislation relating to the built environment. A strong ability to demonstrate breadth of sector knowledge, particularly across policy frameworks, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience of the process of strategic policy and legislative development within Scotland, as well as analytical skills to distil policy information and stakeholder opinions across a broad range of policy topics/disciplines in the built environment sphere. High attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation experience and advanced use of IT packages including Office 365 and Adobe etc are also required.
