About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and creative individual to join our team as a Care Experienced Community Ambassador. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the care experienced community, promoting the Caring Scotland project and its objectives.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community groups and organizations, promoting the project and its benefits to the care experienced community. You will also work closely with our artists to develop engaging interactive installations and exhibitions that showcase the stories collected.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds. A strong understanding of the care experienced community and its challenges is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and organizations
  • PROMOTE THE PROJECT AND ITS BENEFITS TO THE CARE EXPERIENCED COMMUNITY
  • Collaborate with artists to develop engaging interactive installations and exhibitions
  • Work closely with the National Theatre of Scotland team to ensure the successful delivery of the project
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the project and its objectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience in community engagement and outreach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
