Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge with a leading Civil Engineering Contractor in Central Scotland? Our client, Contract Scotland, offers an exciting opportunity to join their commercial team as a Commercial Project Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the financial management of multiple projects from tender to final account.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include conducting cost value reconciliations and handling contract variations, monitoring project progress and managing subcontractor agreements, and collaborating with teams to maintain accurate financial reporting and secure necessary resources.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential to ensure robust financial controls and keep projects on track and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with operational teams and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field and experience in a similar role is desirable. You should also have strong organizational skills, proficiency in cost-based software packages, and a full UK driving license with flexibility to travel as needed.
