Welcome to National Theatre of Scotland, where our creative cultural leader Fellowship programme provides an opportunity for creatives to take bold risks and develop skills in dramaturgy.

As a Dramaturgy Fellow, you will be embedded in artistic decision-making practices and processes across the organisation, developing your expertise in leadership and change-making.

With over 18 months to dedicate to your research project, you will have the chance to explore change-making and make a lasting impact.

The key requirements for this role include:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the performing arts
  • Being from a global majority community or lower socio-economic background
  • Living and working in Scotland, with the right to work in the UK

We are committed to providing an anti-oppressive environment for people from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on various factors.

Our total bursary is £18,750, paid in 18 monthly instalments, and the fixed term is 18 months. Company benefits and the probationary period are also outlined.
