National Theatre of Scotland's creative cultural leader Fellowship programme supports creatives to experiment, take bold risks and develop skills in dramaturgy within a supportive environment. Over 18 months, the Dramaturgy Fellow will be embedded in artistic decision-making practices and processes across the organisation, developing expertise in leadership and change-making.

The successful candidate will have dedicated time to design and deliver projects within NTS, and supported time for their own research project exploring change-making. Key requirements include:
  • Identifying as being from global majority communities or lower socio-economic backgrounds
  • At least 5 years professional experience in the performing arts
  • Over 18 years old and not a full-time student
  • Live and work in Scotland, with the right to work in the UK

Total Bursary: £18,750 paid in 18 monthly instalments. The fixed term is 18 months, from January 2025 – June 2026. The probationary period and company benefits are also outlined.
