Creative Scotland is committed to supporting the creative sector in Scotland. As a Community Advocate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Community Art Space (CAS). Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with residents to increase their involvement in managing the CAS and build their skills, confidence, and leadership abilities.

You will conduct research and feasibility studies to explore options for community ownership of the CAS beyond 2025. This will involve collaborating with the project team, identifying key stakeholders, and developing a comprehensive feasibility report.

We are looking for an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in community development and public engagement. A competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this full-time position.
