Job Title: Administrative Support Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our team at Yorkshire Eye Specialists in York. As an Administrative Support Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative support to a team of consultants.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar coordination-based administration role or secretarial experience. Good keyboard skills and the ability to problem-solve are essential. You must be able to learn a busy role with multiple complex systems and processes.

You will be working as part of a supportive team, providing excellent customer service to patients and dealing with any queries or concerns they may have. Your duties will include supporting up to 11 consultants, audio and copy typing letters and reports, managing their booking system, and keeping electronic medical notes up to date.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday (increasing by one day per year to a maximum of five), employer contribution to pension (4% increasing to 6% after one year service), employee assistance programme, and free car parking.
