Job Description:

Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Trainee. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in CBT and work with clients with common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

About Us:
Norfolk and Waveney NHS Talking Therapies provides services for those aged 16 upwards, addressing common mental health problems. The service is delivered via a partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), Mind, and Relate. We operate under a psycho-social model, incorporating psychological, employment, and social interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide CBT to individuals with common mental health issues and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications:
  1. Hold a BABCP-recognised core profession or prepare a Knowledge, Skills, Attitude (KSA) entry route portfolio prior to interview.
  2. Have an undergraduate degree or equivalent (exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
  3. Meet the KSA standards, which include having at least 4 years of relevant mental health-related work experience and formal/informal training.

Salary:£30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
