Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Central Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a senior psychotherapist and multidisciplinary staff to provide high-quality care to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering CBT Interventions: You will regularly assess, formulate, and deliver short to medium-term CBT interventions to clients experiencing distress and/or engaging in risky behaviours.
  • Team Training and Consultation: You will deliver regular training and ongoing consultation to staff to enable them to have confidence in delivering brief CBT and DBT-informed skills workbooks to clients.
  • MDT Handovers: You will attend MDT handovers to support psychological thinking and the embedding of the 5-P formulation approach to risk.
  • Supervision and Support: You will provide reflective practice, supervision, and support to the wider team.
Working Arrangements:

This is a four-day per week role, working alongside a senior psychotherapist and well-established multidisciplinary team. We offer high-quality supervision and support, as well as opportunities for further training locally.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave, pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
