Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom NHS Full time

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Central Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team as a Band 7 Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with a psychotherapist and multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans for individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Key Duties
  1. To assess, formulate, and deliver short to medium term CBT interventions to clients who have been under CRHT as part of their ongoing discharge/recovery plan.
  2. To attend and contribute to MDT handovers to support psychological thinking and embed the 5-P formulation approach to risk management.
  3. To provide reflective practice, supervision, and support to the wider team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  4. To design and deliver training programmes to equip staff with the skills and confidence to deliver brief psychological interventions using CBT/DBT workbooks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cognitive behavioural therapy, preferably with a postgraduate diploma or equivalent. Experience working in adult mental health settings, particularly within acute/emergency care pathways, is essential. A competitive salary of £60,000-£75,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and opportunities for further training and development make this a highly attractive role.
