Senior Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Mental Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Norwich, delivering high-quality psychological assessments, therapies, and interventions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and committed team, providing impactful mental health services to a diverse client population.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychological assessments for clients across a range of presenting issues, utilising evidence-based tools and methodologies.
- Providing Effective Therapy: Provide individual and group therapy, drawing on a range of psychological models and tailored to client needs.
- Developing Treatment Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor individualised treatment plans, collaborating with clients to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
- Participating in Multidisciplinary Team Meetings: Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to client-centred treatment planning.
- Client Communication: Engage and build rapport with clients, delivering care with empathy, respect, and professionalism.
- Family Support: Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers where appropriate, ensuring they are informed and involved in the therapeutic process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical records in compliance with HCPC and organisational guidelines.
- Reporting and Case Summaries: Prepare reports, case summaries, and other documentation to support client care, discharge planning, and transitions.
- HCPC Registration: Must be a registered Psychologist.
- Practitioner Psychologist Registration: HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience: Experience working in a clinical setting with a range of psychological disorders.
- Therapeutic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Teamwork: Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and families effectively.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to manage caseloads and maintain documentation.
