Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Band 7 Specialist Practitioner in mental health. Our service provides specialist advice, support, and access to mental health services for children and young people aged 0-25 years.

About the Role

  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to children, young people, and their families on mental health-related issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and interventions.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvements.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with a degree-level qualification.
  • At least 3 years' experience in mental health practice, with a strong focus on children and young people's services.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of CYP and family mental health practice.
  • High-level risk assessment and management skills, with the ability to articulate this to the team and partner agencies.
  • Experience in delivering clinical interventions and supporting service development.

Salary

The salary for this role is £46,148 to £52,809 per annum, depending on experience.
