Job Opportunity:
Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist Trainee. In this role, you will have the chance to develop your skills in CBT and work with clients with common mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

About Our Service:
Norfolk and Waveney NHS Talking Therapies provides services for those aged 16 upwards, addressing common mental health problems. We operate under a psycho-social model, incorporating psychological, employment, and social interventions. Our service is delivered via a partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), Mind, and Relate.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide CBT to individuals with common mental health issues and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development.

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and a range of benefits including training and development opportunities, pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the minimum qualifications:
  1. Hold a BABCP-recognised core profession or prepare a Knowledge, Skills, Attitude (KSA) entry route portfolio prior to interview.
  2. Have an undergraduate degree or equivalent (exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis).
  3. Meet the KSA standards, which include having at least 4 years of relevant mental health-related work experience and formal/informal training.
