Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is one of five mental health trusts to achieve an overall rating of 'Outstanding' from the Care Quality Commission. We are seeking a Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team on a temporary basis, providing care and support to service users within our learning disability and forensic services.

Key Accountabilities
  • Act as a Named Nurse for individuals in the service area, providing a holistic approach to assessment, treatment, review, and management of packages of care.
  • Have effective working relationships with other professionals within the service area, across Strategic Business Units, Trust, and other NHS providers.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly within mental health or learning disability services. A car is beneficial for accessing various healthcare settings across the county, unless a disability prevents driving.

Requirements
  • Academic qualifications and membership of professional bodies (NMC).
  • Experience assessing and managing clinical risk.
  • Physically fit and able to complete prevention and management of aggression training.

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
