Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust Full time
Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team

We are seeking ambitious Senior Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our dynamic team based at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich.

The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team offers a unique opportunity to develop your skillset, working alongside senior clinicians in a varied nursing role. Our team is proactive and skilled at managing risk, supporting service users in crisis, and providing alternatives to hospital admissions.

  1. Shift coordination
  2. Triage and assessment of high-risk cases
  3. Working in home treatment within a community setting without solely holding a caseload

Our team splits geographically and takes equal responsibility for caseloads, so you will not hold one independently. You should have experience gained from an acute or community setting, recognizing acute presentations and having a good understanding of the local mental health system.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop as an autonomous, confident practitioner, with support in building your competence in assessment through a minimum two-week local induction and a core competency framework. Regular reflective practice sessions, training days, and wellbeing workshops ensure your continued growth and development.

As a member of our team, you can expect:

  • Flexible working hours
  • A competitive salary of £38,890 - £44,036 per annum, depending on experience
  • Up to 307 hours holiday entitlement (subject to length of service)
  • FREE physio service and yoga classes
  • Cycle scheme tax-free bikes and accessories
  • Support with revalidation and postgraduate training opportunities
  • Paid DBS check

Please find attached our Job Description and Person Specification for more detail on your Key Accountabilities. If you feel you have what it takes to make a difference in your local communities, click 'Apply Now'.
