About the Role

The Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Practitioner Mental Health Professional to join their team in the Norfolk and Waveney Advice, Support and Access Children and Young People's Mental Health Service.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team, providing mental health support for children and young people aged 0-25 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging mental health referrals, exploring and linking with other statutory and non-statutory services, and working with a wide range of stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To have a high level of clinical expertise in the mental and emotional health needs of children, young people, and their families.
  • To complete full assessments via telephone and other forms of digital technology.
  • To take accountability for clinical decisions and demonstrate a high level of clinical judgement.
  • To work autonomously and ensure appropriate action is taken when clinical risks are identified.
  • To be a key clinical point of contact for other members of the skill mix team.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse, registered Occupational Therapist, social worker.
  • Degree level study or equivalent.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Clinical Masters or equivalent experience in mental health.

Working Hours:

The mental health element of Just One Number opens Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. The successful candidate will be expected to work a rotating weekly shift pattern, comprising of an 8 am - 4 pm shift one week and a 10 am - 6 pm the alternate week.
