We are seeking an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our Central Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team as a Band 7 specialist. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of cognitive behavioural theory and its application in crisis situations.

Job Requirements
  • To work collaboratively with a psychotherapist and multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
  • To deliver short-term CBT interventions to clients who have been under CRHT as part of their ongoing discharge/recovery plan.
  • To attend and contribute to MDT handovers to support psychological thinking and embed the 5-P formulation approach to risk management.
  • To design and deliver training programmes to equip staff with the skills and confidence to deliver brief psychological interventions using CBT/DBT workbooks.

The successful candidate will hold a postgraduate diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and be registered with the appropriate professional body. They will also possess significant experience working in adult mental health settings, particularly within acute/emergency care pathways, including CRHT. A competitive salary of £70,000-£85,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and opportunities for further training and development make this a highly desirable role.
