Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Quidenham. This role will provide support to students with special educational needs, promoting their cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioural development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Positive Relationships: Foster warm and supportive relationships with pupils, ensuring they feel safe and able to learn.
  • Promote Independence: Encourage independence and personal development in pupils, maintaining high expectations of behaviour at all times.
  • Support Educational Activities: Contribute to providing high-quality educational activities and experiences, supporting the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Collaborate with Teachers: Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher in all areas of the day-to-day running of the class.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification and a good understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. Knowledge and experience of working with students with SEMH and ASD are advantageous.
