About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Austin Fraser, supporting students with diverse special educational needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements, promoting inclusive learning environments.
  2. Assist students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding through targeted support.
  3. Provide one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs, fostering positive relationships.
  4. Implement behavior management strategies and maintain a positive learning environment, contributing to the overall well-being of students.

About the School:

Austin Fraser supports children and young people aged 5-19 years with complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour, and Complex Needs. Our SEN school in Norwich provides a nurturing environment for growth and development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability, essential for interacting with students, staff, and parents.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK, demonstrating commitment and dedication.
  • Proficiency in English Language, facilitating effective communication and teamwork.
  • The right to work in the UK, ensuring seamless integration into our team.
