About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Forensic Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological services to patients with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake specialist clinical duties, including assessment and treatment of patients.
  • Provide psychological therapies for patients with personality disorder, mental disorder, and intellectual disability.
  • Develop and implement specialist psychological interventions for individuals and groups.
  • Administer and interpret assessments of cognitive and emotional functioning.
  • Assist the multidisciplinary team in diagnosis, problem formulation, and treatment planning.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
  • Experience of and/or interest in rehabilitation and the recovery of patients in a forensic setting.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Clinical supervision training.
  • Training in two or more distinct psychological therapies.
  • Skills in individual and group work and in program planning.
  • Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment.
