Role Overview:

We are looking for a Drug Discovery Manager to join our DMPK team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DMPK and experience in leading research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Suggest, craft, and carry out innovative experiments in DMPK and PKPD science projects.
  • Monitor and maintain awareness of progression in DMPK and PKPD, suggesting next steps and evaluating novel techniques.
  • Contribute to the leadership of the Medicinal Chemistry and DMPK group and the Therapeutic innovation strategy.
  • Manage operational resources to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Oversee internal expertise and apportion capacity and resources.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Drug Metabolism or Pharmacokinetics.
  • Proven expertise in DMPK for drug discovery.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering PK, PKPD, and TKPD expertise to projects.
  • Highly skilled in use of MATLAB, SimCYP, WinNonLin/Phoenix NLME.
  • A wide and varied personal network, accustomed to presenting and publishing work in leading journals.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £76k per annum, depending on skills, background, and experience.
