We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Researcher to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing drug discovery projects from conception to delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To lead and manage drug discovery projects as appropriate and act as the interface between a number of operational teams and cross-site initiatives.
  2. To oversee internal expertise, apportioning capacity and resources which inform governance and decision-making around portfolio support and technology development.
  3. To ensure consistent high-quality data integrity within the DMPK group, presenting compelling data interpretation to guide research strategy and direction.

Requirements:

  • PhD or equivalent in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Drug Metabolism or Pharmacokinetics (or closely related)
  • Proven expertise in the DMPK space for drug discovery
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering PK, PKPD and TKPD expertise to projects including mechanistic PKPD modelling for therapeutic dose prediction
  • Highly skilled in use of MATLAB, SimCYP, WinNonLin/Phoenix NLME

Salary: Up to £76k per annum depending on skills and experience.
