Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drug Discovery Sales Specialist to join our team in [location]. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for promoting our portfolio of chemistry and pharmacology products and services to clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets for your assigned territory or region by building strong relationships with clients and understanding their needs. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel, approximately 50-70% of the time, mostly within the territory. You must reside within the assigned territory.

  • Sell Eurofins Discovery portfolio comprising of chemistry, pharmacology, both products and services within the assigned territory or region.
  • Prospect for client persona that requires services or products for use in drug discovery.
  • Develop and support client relationships through various collaborative approaches.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback for operational strategy needed to meet client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' of experience in sales with a strong understanding of drug discovery and discovery chemistry.
  • A minimum education of a B.S. in chemistry or pharmacology or related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process.
  • Strong presentation skills and a collaborative nature to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
