Join Artios Pharma Limited, a leading biotech company in the UK, as a Scientist in our cancer drug discovery team. We are seeking an exceptional individual with expertise in cell biology to contribute to our ongoing research projects.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and running cellular assays to measure the ability of our novel anticancer agents to modulate specific DNA repair pathways and mechanisms. You will also conduct mechanistic cell biological studies to characterise our novel targets.
Responsibilities:- Create and run cellular assays to measure the ability of our novel anticancer agents to modulate specific DNA repair pathways and mechanisms.
- Run mechanistic cell biological studies to characterise our novel targets.
- Contribute biological data to our ongoing drug discovery projects.
- PhD or equivalent in a life science subject.
- Excellent skills in a broad range of cell and molecular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, viability assays, Western blotting, immunofluorescence.
- Demonstratable experience working in a research environment.
- An attractive salary package, with an estimated annual salary of £45,000 - £65,000.
