Pedestrian Training Coordinator

At Kent County Council, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Safer Active Journeys team as a Pedestrian Training Coordinator. This exciting role involves delivering pedestrian training schemes at primary schools across Kent, with a focus on equipping children with the skills to become safer pedestrians.
Job Summary:
- Deliver pedestrian training schemes to groups of children with the aid of parent volunteers
- Perform and accurately record risk assessments of suitable training sites within walking distance of schools
- Liaise with selected schools to coordinate the delivery of pedestrian training schemes
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Small Steps program in the local district
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
